Alright I was reading through a calender sent to me through Conestoga college. These course descriptions are qouted word for word and come from their New Age/Metaphysics section.

The Psychic World #META0110

This one-day seminar will help you develop the dynamic powers of your mind. The course will cover such topics as E.S.P. games to increase your own abilities, learn how to meditate, how to see auras and decipher what the colours mean. We will discuss how to interpret your dreams and control them, Astral projection and more.

Advanced Psychic World #META0130

Recommended: META0110 The Psychic World or permission of the instructor

Advanced Psychic World continues where 'The Psychic World' left off. It will cover such topics as: alternative realities, ley lines, other styles of meditation, and astral projection. The class will be taken on two group projections. Students will need to bring a blanket and pillow.

There was also a course called 'Reincarnation - Who Were You?' which takes the students on three group past life regressions.

These course seem like a mix of sci-fi, fantasy and the World of Darkness. I mean come on doesn't E.S.P., aura reading and astral projection sounds like Auspex to me! Hey group astral projection doesn't that sound like the pack going into the Umbra? I mean come on the alternative realities shtick was the premise behind the TV show Sliders. I mean ley lines is pretty messed up shit man. Altough controlling dreams could be used for erotic purposes :)

Alright I know I probably shouldn't mock this stuff because some people really believe in it. The thing is that the only one I know who truly believes in this New Age crap is also a gaint New Age Jackass!

Oh I have to ask the Saint Absolon ST is I can take this course and get Auspex 5. I mean they must let me do it since it exist in the real world! :)

It makes me want to take the course just to see what they think they are teaching you about ESP and auras in one day!
